TurboSWAP is a set of electronic forms for assessing existing drinking water sources. TurboSWAP walks a qualified engineer through the process of an assessment as outlined by the Drinking Water Source Assessment Program guidelines published by the California Department of Health Services (DHS). These forms are custom software which communicate with a DHS server database. TurboSWAP contains places to enter all of the minimum information necessary to complete a Source Water Assessment. TurboSWAP is now available to public water systems. Systems should check with their DHS district engineers. To obtain a version of TurboSWAP or additional information on the program contact your appropriate district office (DHS Drinking Water Program Office Locations).
