GPS Information (Progress-Work Remaining, Offset Data, All Other Data)
Source and Plant Records not GPS'ed
The SWAP program requires all PICME records which reflect active and standby sources and active and standby
treatment plants (SREC Type = "S" or "P" and Entity Info = "AU" or "AR" or "AT" or "SU" or "SR" or "ST") in
active systems (PM Status = "A" and PWS Class = "P" or "N" or "C") to be GPS'ed. This table represents all
PICME records that meet these criteria that have not yet been GPS'ed.
Source & Plant Records GPS'ed
Using Offset Procedure
The offset procedure is implemented when a valid GPS point cannot
be collected within a 10 foot radius of the drinking water source or water treatment
plant. The offset procedure requires one to determine the true north angle and
the distance in meters from where the offset location is to the drinking water
source or plant and then enter this information into the GPS unit. Incorrectly
implementing this process can significantly degrade the accuracy of the GPS
measurement. Please review the table, paying special attention to the offset
angle and distance (compare values here to values on field data sheet for each
source), and report any discrepancies as soon as possible to Rob Coman.
All Other Data
Sources to be Redone - Differential Correction
In certain circumstances, the differential correction process may result in GPS records that do not meet the SWAP GPS
requirement of each GPS point having a minimum of 180 positions. In these circumstances a phone call has been made to the
appropriate District or LPA contact informing them that a particular source was not accepted and needs to be GPS'ed
again. This query will produce a list of all the applicable sources that have not yet been GPS'ed again.
Sources to be Redone - Positions (<180)
In very specific circumstances, GPS records with less than 180 positions have been accepted into the data stream.
These sources, although accepted, do not meet the SWAP GPS requirements and may eventually need to be GPS'ed again.
This query will produce a list of those sources.
Incomplete "Well no DB" Records
"Well no DB" GPS features require the manual input of the System
Number and Source Number attributes when collecting GPS data in the field. In
some cases the System or Source Numbers may not be known and in other cases
the operator simply may not have entered the information. This information is
required. If you see a record on the list for which the missing information
is known, please contact Rob Coman.
"Well no DB" Records - No PICME Match
A particular source is usually GPS'ed using a "Well no DB" feature because it is not in PICME and, therefore,
not on the Task 1 source list in the GPS Data Management System. When these source records are entered into PICME, the
"Well no DB" GPS records are matched to the PICME source record. This query will produce a list of all the
"Well no DB" GPS records that are not yet in PICME. These source records should be updated in PICME as soon as
possible.

Source Records not Assessed (TS)
The SWAP program requires all PICME records which reflect active sources (SREC Type = "S" and Entity Info = "AU" or "AR")
in active systems (PM Status = "A" and PWS Class = "P" or "N" or "C") to be Assessed. This table represents all PICME
records that meet these criteria that have not yet been Assessed.
